Last week I had the pleasure of attending Monique Caradine’s breakfast training and strategy session for women entrepreneurs who are looking to “create more money, freedom, influence, and overflow in their business and life.” It was nice to be in the company of fellow entrepreneurs who were supportive and all were determined to strategically take steps to grow their business beyond their wildest dreams.
These types of events are always a reminder that as entrepreneurs we can never do it alone. Whether it is mentors, coaches, or vendors who provide advice, inspire us to be better, and / or help us to work smoother and relieve some of our workload (that we probably have no business doing anyway), I believe that we have to be strategic about deliberately creating a community of people who support our vision.
Every entrepreneur should have a dream team. A dream team would be your network of people who ensure that you operate at your best. In most circumstances (as it depends on what you do), this group would probably include an accountant, lawyer, creative designer, brand manager, and a life coach. These people would be committed to your vision and their focus would be to share their expertise to support you as you work toward your dream. These people in their own way would hold you accountable to the talents and expertise that you offer the world.
So I ask you today…do you have a dream team? Who are the key players on your winning team?
